It has 96 verses and is the 56th chapter of Quran. The Holy Prophet PBUH is also noted to have said, Surah Al Waiqiah is the Surah of Wealth, so recite it and teach it to your children. Whoever recites the Surah Al Waqiah at night, they would never encounter poverty. It takes its name from the word al-waqiah of the very first verse. Surah Al-Waqiah is a Makki Surah that was revealed in Makkah. In Islam, there is a Hadith that states that the Holy Prophet PBUH once stated. ALLAH provides countless blessings for the reader of the surah. Surah Al-Waqi’a or Al Waqiah (in Arabic: ) is a Meccan surah that Muslims’ hearts shake for it. So to protect ourselves and to prepare ourselves let us try to learn more about Islam and pick up the Quran more often. Proves beneficial to earn great blessings.
I’ve heard, Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam saying: one who will recite sura Waqiah every night, will never be needy/poor.Īs you can see that there are many benefits to reciting and knowing this Surah. The Prophet(SAW) said, ‘Surah al Waqiah is the Surah of Wealth, so recite it and teach it to your children’ The Prophet(SAW) said, ‘Whoever recites surah al Waqiah at night would never encounter poverty’ So here is a hadith on the benefits of Surah Waqiah: The religion of Islam is powerful so don’t overdo it and burn yourself out, rather take a gradual process to do this. Just try it at least once and slowly build upon it. So with this being mentioned everyone should try to incorporate Quran in their lives and learn from it. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is a letter, rather Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.” (At-Tirmidhi).
The Prophet(sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a hasanah(good deed) from it, and the hasanah is multiplied by ten. I want to write about the benefits of reciting and knowing Surah Waqiah.įirst of all just reciting and reading Quran has so much benefit in it.
